During the past years OMAR implemented carpet weaving, and tailoring projects funded by WFP for Afghan widows, and carpentry project for orphans, in the IDP camps in Nangarhar province. Income generation projects were also implemented for the disabled people in Herat.  

During the past twelve years OMAR also completed some of the school/clinic construction work.  In addition to the above OMAR provided emergency relief assistance to the needy people in Laghman, Nangarhar and Kabul provinces during the internal civil war as well as after the 11th of September.
